The Art Museum San Marco is a building from the XVI century, made by the famous architect Jacopo Sansovino. It is composed by two linked halls for a total of 370 sqm with an independent entrance from Piazza San Marco.
In particular, the Antechamber has ancient statues and reliefs, mostly greek, while the spacious main Salone is characterized by the ceiling decorated with grotesques on gold bottom by Battista Franco and other artists of the time.
