From Friday 22 September to Sunday 15 October, Concilio Europeo dell’Arte will host the exhibition PIECE-PEACE by the artist Karolina Gacke.
Her art aims to represent the fragile contemporary reality, like a ceramic plate, where borders create more and more divisions. Her art works bring together different pieces of broken plates, recalling tradition and familiarity. She uses the Japanese technique of Kintsugi, bringing together tradition and contemporaneity, to create something new and better, even if defective, because imperfection is beauty. Hence her message of peace and hope in the union and cooperation between peoples.
