The event
During the vernissage (private preview) on Saturday, 4 June at the InParadiso Gallery at the Giardini of the Venice Biennale, the Premio Paradiso will be presented to John T. Spike for Leonardo da Vinci and the Idea of Beauty, a quadrennial prize that the Concilio Europeo dell’Arte presents to distinguished authors, curators, and historians of art in the prior four years for an exposition or text both tied to the development to a greater sense toward all forms of art and aimed at the search for the connection between the beauty and the work of art.
